The Ghost of the Nueces Strip is a sweeping epic filled with adventure, tragedy and romance that follows the lives of two young men caught up in the conflicts between Mexico, France, Texas, the Natives and the United States from late 1835 to 1881.Inigo Salvaje is born into the poorest area of Laredo known as el otro lado where he is conscripted into Santa Anna’s invading army after killing a Frenchman.
